A: For the best experience, I recommend booking at least 2-3 weeks in advance. However, during peak seasons (December-March for winter proposals and July-September for summer proposals), try to book 4-6 weeks ahead. And hey, if you're planning a last-minute proposal, still reach out - I'll do my best to make it work!
Q: What happens if it rains/snows on our planned proposal day?
A: Welcome to Colorado! As your local photographer, I always have backup plans ready. We'll discuss weather-proof alternatives during planning, and I keep a close eye on forecasts. If needed, we can adjust timing or location day-of. But remember - sometimes mountain weather creates the most magical proposal photos!
Q: Do you help with planning the proposal?
A: Absolutely! As an Aspen local, I know all the best spots - from iconic locations like Maroon Bells, Aspen Mountain, PineCreek Cookhouse - to hidden gems off the beaten path. I'll help you choose the perfect location based on your style, the season, and how private you want the moment to be. I can even suggest the best times for lighting and minimal crowds.
Q: Can we do an engagement session right after the proposal?
A: Yes! Many couples love to continue with a mini engagement session while they're still glowing from the proposal which is included in my Aspen Luxury Package.

Q: What if my partner gets suspicious seeing a photographer?
A: Don't worry! I have several stealth strategies that work great:
