After living a decade in the hustling and bustling suburbs of Seoul, South Korea; we now find ourselves nestled and cozy in the Rocky Mountains, living just outside of Aspen, and absolutely loving the small town, simple life and all that the absolutely gorgeous Aspen area has to offer.
In order to achieve the highest quality of photos to display in your home, I shoot with a 2023 Canon Full Frame Mirrorless R6 (EOS), entirely manual. I also shoot in raw - allowing for the best resolution for prints or enlargements direct from your gallery and make beautiful art work for my clients homes.

I graduated with a Business Management degree, and Brock pursued his hockey dreams after college. His hockey career took us all over the US - and overseas to Augsburg, Germany for one season & then Anyang, South Korea for 10+ seasons. Fun fact, let's brag on him for a minute. Brock played in the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics representing Team Korea, he even popped a goal against Finland! So proud of my hard working guy - and love celebrating major life accomplishments together.
I started studying photography and launched my own business in 2012, quickly becoming obsessed with taking amazing photos of my children and pretty soon found myself booking a lot of clients. My business has grown over the years and my main focus now is you adorable couples in love. Elopements, proposals, engagements, micro weddings and weddings are my favorites!

My background story
was born and raised in Northville, a small, quiet town in Michigan. I met my husband, Brock, in college, where we both were attending Michigan State University. He is originally from Canada, and was playing hockey at MSU. We started dating at just 19, got married at 25 (in Sanibel Island, FL) - and now we have two beautiful children and are living our mountain life together in Basalt, CO.

My Grandma was my best friend and biggest supporter, we shared the middle name 'Elizabeth'. She and my Grandpa met at a ski party in CO in the 1950s, they got engaged in the streets of Denver and moved back to Michigan soon after. Her influence, love and encouragement was a big part of us moving and living our lives today in the mountains. If we work together and you notice a tattoo on my left forearm, it's her writing and says "It is well with my soul." I miss her every day.

I have a deep and abiding love for the great outdoors, particularly the art of hiking. There's something incredibly liberating about the crunch of the earth beneath my boots, the scent of pine in the air, and the ever-changing landscapes that unfold with each step.
I believe that the best stories are written on the trails we traverse, and I'm on a constant quest to add new chapters to my own. Whether it's conquering challenging peaks, discovering hidden waterfalls, or simply finding solace in the quiet embrace of nature, every hike is a new adventure waiting to be unfolded.
